Is it Hard to get into University of Washington -Seattle?
Is it Hard to get into University of Washington -Seattle?
University of Washington is one of my top schools, I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what my chances are: Right now I've got: -3.4 GPA -27 ACT Composite, 33 English, 28 Math, 24 Reading, 22 Science, 30 Writing -1730 GPA -Eagle Scout -Lots of community service through scouting -Sports -AP and IB courses, although not on Diploma Does this give me a chance?

I dont know..... Thats my top school too, and we are about the same and i'm pretty worried about getting in. I have 3.33 gpa 29 ACT, 1910 SAT leadership postion at my job lots of community service AP classes. My counselor told me its a possible to reach. she showed a me a scattergram of the people at my school who had gotten in and most had around a 3.7

What do you think of Seattle, Washington?
What do you think of Seattle, Washington?
If you've been there or live there, what do you think? Would you recommend it as a good place to live? I don't have kids, so I'm not concerned with wether or not it's a good place to raise a family or anything, I'm just considering wether I should go to school there or not. Thank You

It's a great urban place to ride a bike or be a bicycle messenger.

im hispanic and there werent many hispanics there so i did not like that i like living in a place with people of different ethnicities and there were only whites and blacks. I heard Washington has the highest suicidal rates and it is very calm kind of boring for me

Well i live here for 18 years and its not a place for everyone. I would say its not boring BUT it rains ALOT take this seriosly because you will get sick of it quick unless you Loce RAIN. thus the rain makes it impossible to do outdoor activites 70 percent of the year but summers here are beutiful but SHORT, it is a nice fun place you have a few different types of people which is cool its actually diverse it has like 16 percent asian and 10 percent black so thats over like 30 percent minorities so its very mixed. i would say the worst thing is weather other than that its actually a good place. but Los Angeles is better i been there and liked it way more

What should I pack for a school trip to Washington DC?
| What should I pack for a school trip to Washington DC? So for school we have a trip to DC from Seattle and I was wondering what I should pack clothes-wise. The trip is going to be in spring time (late March, early April) and I don't know the weather there. The trip in about 5 days and 4 nights long. The principal says we walk everywhere so comfy clothes, I'm guessing? If you could give me a list of what you would pack, that would be great. Anyone know anything about University Of Washington, Seattle?
I'm really interested in going here for undergrad when i graduate high school this coming june. Could you please tell me anything you know, or even heard of, about the school? Like reputation, what it's known for (major or program, etc)? And anything else? I've done some research myself, however I need to see what other people have to say. It'd help a lot. Thank you!

I have: 3.35 GPA 1800 SAT 250 community service hours Very rigorous course selection Various awards Sports for 3 years Club participation I have taken 7 AP classes over my high school career and the rest are honors. I was wondering if this is good enough to get into UW.

These qualifications make a solid application. But there are no guarantees. Much will depend on whether you applying from in state or out of state, how many other applications they get this year, how your application essay sounds, and maybe also what your intended major is. But with these details I'd certainly put in an application!
