I heard the University of Washington has a TOP medical school, but it's in St. Louis. Is it good to go to the one in Seattle instead? Because I hate the location of the actual med school.

Let's get something straight here: Washington University (WashU) in St. Louis is a private college, like Harvard or Yale; and it does have one of the top medical schools in the country. The University of Washington (UW) in Seattle is a public school like any other "State" school.They are not affiliated. Both are fine schools; just WashU's medical school is ranked higher than UW. You do not have to go to the same school for pre-med as medical school; and my experience from taking pre-med classes at a large state school is that the classes are very, very competitive. The difference would be having 800 in your state school organic chemistry class vs.100 in organic chem at a private University.
